Scenario 011 ~ Proposing at the beach [Junsu]

Spiral shadows conquered the hiding of the sun as the night began to set upon your head, you could hear the crashing of waves not so far away from your reach as your naked feet palpated the tingling sensation of soft sand between your toes; your long faded blue summer dress flew through the edges by the vibrating air concealed around the atmosphere as you held his hand tightly.

Junsu and you walked through the beach as he squeezed your hand around his touch, letting him guide you into a place you actually didn’t know, but he mentioned that it was going to be a surprise for your four year anniversary. You didn’t know what to expect, since he already did enough throughout the day bringing you breakfast in bed, taking you to lunch and singing that special song which made your heart flutter and remember the first day you both met. 

His eyes sparkled by just looking at you as he still walked you through the path, voicing memories you and him lived as he wrapped you around his velvet voice and his soft laugh, it was as if he never dared to forget the slightest of details which both of you shared through so long. You smiled at him with happiness in your heart, always willing to hear everything what he had to say as you realized that, throughout all this time, your heart still accelerated just like the first time your eyes met. 

“Ok” Junsu said, putting himself behind you as he covered your eyes with his long fingers. “I don’t want you to see until I say so, ok?” He asked you as you nodded weakly, you could hear a gulp going through his throat as he breathed out hardly. “Walk with me” He whispered in your ear, your feet moving as his moved as well; you put your hands over his as you both walked slowly, the sound of far away crickets distracting your thoughts while he breathed serenely through your neck.

“Almost there…” He said shortly before walking a few more and getting a stop in a sudden motion. “Ok…” He breathed out nervously, his hands shaking a tad bit as he sighed. “We’re here” His hands began to collapse yet, at the same time, he kept them still on your eyes.

“Junsu…” You whispered, touching his fingers delicately. “Can I see now?”

“Y-Y-Yes…” Junsu stuttered, uncovering your eyes slowly as you opened your eyelids and saw the landscape before you. Several candles were lit up in the shape of a heart, petals of red, pink and white roses surrounded the sand while the remaining lights of the background gave it a romantic sight; the waves still crashing lightly in a peaceful manner as you covered your mouth with your hands, gasping in surprise.

Junsu grabbed your hand with a smile as the air blew his hair, directing you carefully inside the lit up heart as he breathed in and out desperately and nervously. He licked his lips, his hands shaking as he caressed yours. You watched how fragile and tender he looked, so you squeezed his hand while you caressed his cheek. “Are you ok?”

Mouthing out your name, he looked at you straight in the eyes, you could see your own reflection staggered in his pupils. “We’ve been together for exactly four years…” He started to say, breathing out heavily. “And throughout all that time…you’ve given me nothing but the very best…you make me the happiest man in the world, you make me smile even if the world is crashing down…you are the most beautiful soul in this planet, you’re the one who gives sense to my life and the one who gives music to my heart…” Suddenly, he began to put a hand inside his pocket as he grabbed your hand. He said your name again as he began to kneel.

At the movement of him kneeling, you felt as if your heart was about to burst out of your chest. You began to contain nervous bolts trespassing your body numerous times as your trembling fingers covered your mouth once again, his head looking up at you as he took out a little velvet box; your eyes began to gain crystallized windows as he kissed your hand tenderly.

“You are everything I wanted…” He opened the box slowly, revealing a platinum ring with the brightest of stones. “Everything I wished for…I want you in my life forever, forever…will you-” He coughed, biting his lip. “Will you marry me?”

Your tears couldn’t be able to be held as they flowed serenely, sharing quiet sobs to the air as you nodded without hesitation. “Yes, Junsu” You said between short breaths, his hands putting the ring around your finger. “I want to, of course I want to” You let out a tiny squeal as he stood up and held you between his arms, kissing you tenderly as he smiled throughout the kiss, his excitement almost uncontrollable. 

“I love you” He spun you through the air, filling you with kisses.

“I love you, too” You answered, smiling widely as both of you embraced each other in the tightest of hugs.
